What is Strata40?
Strata40 is a Mozilla Firefox theme created for one purpose, to give the average Firefox user a glimpse into the future so that everyone can experience the new Firefox 4 mockups from the comfort of their own browser. The project was originally created to mimic the Firefox 3.7 mockups floating around the internet, but this soon changed as entirely new Firefox 4 mockups were released. Strata40 brings together the most accurate images taken straight from the Mozilla developers and turns them into a fully fledged, functioning theme.
Where do I get it?
The current stable versions are available at the main Strata40 page on the Mozilla Add-ons site. Beta versions are also available and generally have more features and more closely resemble the latest mockups. You can find both versions here.
And now that you have tried Strata40, why not make the experience even more complete by installing StrataBuddy. This companion add-on will add many customization options and new mockup-like features to the theme. It is highly recommended that you use the two together.
